POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direct supervision of the Area Manager, responsible for transporting sensitive medical equipment and supplies between customer sites, Diagnostic Imaging Solution (DIS) facilities and other designated locations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the following essential function satisfactorily.

1. Using a DIS provided van, safely transport sensitive medical imaging cameras between facilities and/or customer sites in New Jersey, New York City and Long Island.
2. Responsible for delivering, unloading/loading, and moving medical imaging cameras at hubs, customer sites, and other locations as directed by Area Manager.
3. Drive company van and follow Radiation Safety and Department of Transportation regulations for purpose of transporting equipment, medical supplies, radioactive materials, and staff to customer site.
4. Comply with established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, and environmental standards.
5. Daily, ensure that company van and equipment are always kept clean, maintained, and ready for service. This may include taking van and/or equipment to outside vendor for maintenance and repair.
6. Any other duties assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

Two (2) or more years’ experience as a corporate transport driver or similar responsible role. Clean MVR for the past five years.

Physical Activities: On a continuous basis, sit for a long period of time, ease in moving about facility including stairs. Some walking, stopping, turning and lifting up to 60 lbs will be required, daily pushing and pulling of medical equipment up to 500 lbs. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
