Role Overview and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Performs various duties including calibrations, maintenance and minor repair of tools and equipment in the plant.
  • Maintains documented calibration procedures and prepare reports, as required.
  • Maintains repair and calibration of assessment tools and measurement of equipment.
  • Administers all calibration methods and procedures.
  • Maintains workload to ensure completion within required timeframe.
  • Coordinates with all departments for internal and external calibrations.
  • Prepares all documentation applicable for various assignments, calibration records.
  • Develops all reports and certificates pertaining to calibration, maintain calibration tag process.
  • Performs inspection and calibrate all tooling equipment’s as required.
  • Maintains control and traceability related to tooling inside shop and outside vendors.
  • Assists with repair of measurement equipment, analog troubleshooting
  • Gathers and documents the data records related to calibration.
  • Maintains workloads and self prioritizes multiple work streams of material on floor
  • Reviews incoming work to military/commercial test specifications for special requirements and executes tasks with little oversight.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

Core Requirements

  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Office.
  • Familiar with wide variety of electrical equipment including digital ohmmeter, cold chamber, hot ovens, calculators, special pull strength test, moisture cabinet, variety of soldering irons; also solder dip pot and numerous other miscellaneous test equipment and simple hand tools.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems and the utilization of various software, including computerized data logger to make resistance measurements.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in Electronics or equivalent experience.
  • 2 to 5 years electronic manufacturing experience in computer-related, telecom, or automotive electronics and working knowledge of the materials, equipment and processes used.
