Position Summary:

Supervise material service associates to ensure proper direction, quality, and completeness of work

Essential Functions:

• Supervise the handling and warehousing of production materials and finished products
• Receives and inspects incoming products
• Maintain and manage physical storage and handling systems in the warehouse.
• Supervise order filling, shipment of products, and maintenance of inventory and shipping records
• Serve as the liaison between departments regarding shipping and receiving activity.
• Oversee checking, packing, crating, banding, labeling, and weighing of orders for shipment.
• Participate and assist in physical inventory
• Administer performance appraisals
• Supervise and develop direct reports
• Strong verbal, written, analytical, and persuasive skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of associates and management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Self-motivator with good leadership skills
• Good organizational skills
• Ensure change point controls are followed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Position Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Advanced education preferred
• 1-year relevant experience in the manufacturing industry
• Valid driver’s license

Direct Reports:

• Associates in the Material Service Department
• TLs in the Material Service Department

Physical Requirements:

• Vocal Communication - Must be able to give concise directions and exchange ideas in a dynamic, often noisy work environment
• Hearing Perception - Ability to recognize information at normal spoken levels and/or ability to receive detailed information through oral communications and/or make fine distinctions in sound
• Sensory Utilization - Prepare and analyze written or computer data
• Physical Activities - Required to stand, walk and sit. May occasionally reach with hands and arms. May be required to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
• Visual Acuity - There are no special vision requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
