Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Trailer Parts Counter professional to join our team. As a Trailer Parts Counter, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their trailer parts needs, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring accurate inventory management.

Duties:

- Assist customers in identifying and selecting the appropriate trailer parts and accessories

- Provide product recommendations based on customer needs and specifications

- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently

- Maintain a clean and organized parts counter area

- Receive and stock inventory shipments

- Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accurate stock levels

- Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders

- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and courteous manner

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new products, and advancements in trailer parts

Skills:

- Strong mathematical skills for calculating prices, discounts, and inventory quantities

- Knowledge of trailer parts market trends and product offerings

- Ability to effectively manage stock levels and maintain inventory accuracy

- Excellent organizational skills to maintain a clean and efficient parts counter area

- Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers

- Sales management skills to promote additional products or services when appropriate

- Strong negotiation skills to ensure fair pricing for customers

- Cash handling experience to process sales transactions accurately
