The Employment Specialist position includes a $2000 hiring bonus :

$500 paid out at 1 month of successful employment.

  • $250 paid out at 3 months of successful employment.
  • $250 paid out at 6 months of successful employment.
  • $250 paid out at 9 months of successful employment
  • $750 paid out at 1 year of successful employment.
  • In addition, this position also receives a $200 longevity bonus at 1 year of successful employment, for a total of $2200 in bonuses within your 1st year.
  • $17.50 / hour with a high school diploma or Associate's Degree, pay increases to $18.00 / hour at 6 months of successful employment

You will love coming to work as an Employment Specialist and will make a significant difference in the lives of the people we support by :

  • Assisting persons served in their work program
  • Overseeing in-house contract work
  • Running daily programs
  • Developing / implementing community integration activities
  • Supervising at the community job site

Employment Specialist Qualifications and Skills :

MUST HAVES :

  • Enthusiasm and desire to help others
  • High School Diploma
  • Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
  • Ability to pass DHS Background Study
  • Dependable / reliable transportation to and from training sites and job sites.
