Tsay Federal Contracting Services is Hiring an IT SPECIALIST Near Rio Rancho, NM

SUMMARY

The IT Specialist is responsible for the local network structure and database that allows TSAY to run efficiently and effectively.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Administration and oversight of network design, implementation, organization and troubleshooting.
  • Providing technical support in managing network hubs, routers, and servers.
  • Monitor underlying communication protocols and supporting network hardware and software.
  • Provides troubleshooting and implementation of CMMS databases.
  • Update and maintain databases such as SQL Server and Microsoft Access.
  • Knowledge of object-based programming and SQL queries.
  • Data base management knowledge.
  • Network administration skills with active directory.
  • Rapid Response to Help desk tickets.
  • Provide on demand network topology reports.
  • Server Managed Services
  • Patches and Updates
  • Virtual Machine Patches and Updates
  • Active Directory
  • Group Policy
  • Firewall and VPN Support
  • Schedule and plan patches and updates deployment for all switches.
  • Microsoft 0365 support
  • Internal Cloud application support
  • Asset control and inventory management.
  • Apple Mobile OS deployment
  • Weekly log reporting on network traffic through Firewall
  • Polycom phone support and deployment
  • E fax software support and deployment.
  • Manage and Maintain storage room inventory.
  • Ubiquity access point management
  • Veeam backup management
  • Synology software management
  • Windows operating support Levels 1-3
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have data entry skills and experience using current computer software applications.
  • Must be proficient in Excel.
  • Must be able to qualify for security clearance within one month.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft suite, specifically excel and Access.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technologies.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ related experience.
  • Each complete year of accredited college education in a related field may be substituted for the equivalent number of years of required experience.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, managers, and staff members.
