Salary Range: $12.50 Hourly
Travel Percentage: Up to 25%

Description

TSAOG Orthpaedics & Spine is a well-established and community-focused multi-specialty physician group. Our mission is to be trusted for patient care, based on our experience and traditions, as we have since 1947.

Job duties:

  • Assisting patients in and out of therapy equipment, such as exercise machines, parallel bars, or mats.
  • Setting up equipment for therapy sessions, including adjusting machines, stocking supplies, and preparing treatment areas.
  • Monitoring patients while they perform exercises to ensure they are doing them correctly and following the therapist's instructions.
  • Recording patient progress and updating therapy plans, as directed by a licensed therapist.
  • Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and greeting patients.
  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment and therapy rooms.
  • Reporting and documenting any problems or concerns to the supervising therapist.

Qualifications:

  • High school degree or equivalent; some college-level coursework in physiology, anatomy or kinesiology preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with patients and therapists.
  • Ability to multitask, be organized and handle a high-pressure environment.
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills, such as using electronic medical records software.
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology and experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred.
