Operations Manager – TSA Manufacturing is looking for an operations manager to lead our Production Department, Shipping Department and maintain our building. Preferred candidates will have 5-10 years of experience leading a production / manufacturing operation in the steel fastener industry.

Candidate must have proven leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate a production floor of 15 to 20 employees. We are looking for a solid leader; honest, direct, and with excellent people skills. Below are some of the key responsibilities of this position:

Extensive knowledge of steel manufacturing processes.

Experienced working with a very detail ERP software system

A complete knowledge of steel used in a steel fastener manufacturing environment.

Oversight of Job Schedule for material requirements, machine requirements, personnel requirements, and subcontracted requirements to insure timely completion.

Oversight of those using CAD/CAM software usage.

Oversight of CNC programing, setup and operation.

Proven track record of accurate Inventory Management in a busy production environment.

Ability to prioritize jobs in an ever-changing environment.

Ability to work well with Sales Department and Shipping Department personnel.

Develop opportunities for Production and Shipping automation/efficiencies.

Recognize and communicate improvements of “parts routing” received from the sales department.

Managment of and Building Maintenance personnel.

Insure preventative maintenance is performed regularly to insure equipment is running efficiently.

TSA Manufacturing maintains an ISO 9001:2015 certificate and has a well developed safety program. This position requires an individual who will consistently maintain and/or improve both of these programs.

TSA Manufacturing’s product lines include anchor bolts, threaded rod, coil rod, acme rod, u-bolts, weld studs, deformed bar anchors, etc. In addition, to the construction related fasteners we manufacture products to customer specifications for the construction industry, agriculture industry and O.E.M. parts.

Full time position. First Shift. Standard work week. Salary depending upon experience.
