POSITION: Technician
DEPARTMENT: Maintenance
SHIFT: 1st Shift & 3rd Shift
There is an opening in the Maintenance Department for a Technician, reporting to Section Manager.
Position Summary: Increase profitability of company by reducing equipment related downtime. Have good communication between all levels of associates to ensure quality and safe working conditions.
Qualifications: (knowledge, skills and abilities):
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prefer 3 years electrical, hydraulics, welding, pneumatics, air compressor, air dryer and chiller experience
• Knowledge of machine shop equipment, mechanical skills, troubleshooting, National Electric Code, OHSA regulations, blueprints and schematics preferred
• Good communication skills, ability to work independently under general supervision and ability to work overtime on short notice is required
• Knowledge of Ladder Logic and PLC experience required
Primary Position Responsibilities:
• Work with department management to schedule preventive maintenance
• Work with department management to repair equipment
• Complete work orders
Essential Job Requirements:
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written to facilities associates and outside suppliers
• Ability to work independently under general supervision
• Safe work practices
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Reading of schematics and diagrams
• Prefer 3 years electrical, hydraulics, welding, pneumatics, air compressor, air dryer and chiller experience

• Flexible work hours
• Computer use
