TS TECH is Hiring an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Finance Lead Near Reynoldsburg, OH

Job Description:


Position summary:

In the coming 8 months, TS Tech will implement an updated overall Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution system. This overall solution includes an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) sub-system, consisting of the following business functional areas:

  • Project Management – Cost & Budget Controls
  • Indirect Item Master
  • Inventory Management – Indirect/Expense Type
  • Maintenance Management
  • Purchasing – Indirect/Expense Type

DocLib, a 3rd party software to handle supplier invoices & expense approval workflows electronically, will also be implemented.

To implement the EAM & DocLib portions of the overall enterprise solution, you will be the EAM Finance/Accounting Lead, primarily responsible for working with other internal project team members and 3rd party consultants to learn the relevant systems and become a subject matter expert, participate in design sessions and system configuration, facilitate testing and Go Lives, and train key end users at the different locations of TS Tech throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico.

After implementation, the EAM Finance/Accounting Lead will support the business with change requests, troubleshoot ERP/EAM related issues, provide training, and ensure the implemented system is functioning as intended, specifically with regard to EAM functionality its integration with the overall enterprise solution.

Qualifications/Essential Skills and Experience:

  • From a Production Support perspective, knowledge, and experience with enterprise resource planning systems, particularly with enterprise asset management sub-systems:
    • Indirect Item Master – MRO Items used for Maintenance, Spare Parts, etc…
    • Indirect Purchasing – MRO Supplies & Services, Budget Controls. Electronic Approvals
    • Indirect Inventory Management – MRO Supplies, Spare Parts, Standardize, Right Size
    • Project Management – Capital & Expense, Cost & Budget Controls
    • Maintenance Management – Maintain Assets, Cost of Ownership, Repair & Replace
  • Ability to ask users about their processes and how they could be automated and improved.
  • Ability to train end users of varied positions and levels of technical ability.
  • Ability to lead and problem solve.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and follow through.
  • Ability and willingness to occasionally work outside of regular office hours.
  • Understanding of how changes will impact the end user(s)
  • Ability to work independently within a matrixed organization / with vendors / an international environment.
  • Ability to professionally handle multiple tasks / changing priorities.
  • Willingness to travel 25-50% within North America
  • Excellent analytical skills / ability to make decisions based on data.
  • Fluency in English

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study
    • Minimum 2 years enterprise system experience
    • Experience in Training and Presenting
    • Spanish or Japanese communication skills a plus, but not required.

Primary Position Responsibilities:

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Environmental conditions - Open office environment. May be exposed to moderate noise levels.
  • Vocal Communication - Required to express or exchange ideas by means of concise (clear, correct, and timely) discussion with coworkers, customers, suppliers, etc.
  • Hearing Perception - Ability to recognize information at normal spoken levels and/or ability to receive detailed information through oral communications and/or make fine distinctions in sound.
  • Sensory Utilization - Prepare and analyze written or computer data.
  • Physical Activities - Required to stand, walk, and sit, as well as using hands to pick up, handle or feel objects. May occasionally reach with hands and arms. May be required to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Visual Acuity - There are no special vision requirements.
