Job Summary :

Tryfacta is seeking a Computer Support Specialist for our client in New York, NY 10004. This is a temporary contract assignment.

Position Title : Computer Support Specialist

Location : New York, NY 10004

Duration : 12 Months

Work Schedule : M-F 9-5

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to :

Conduct and coordinate Vulnerability Assessment and management

Work with Stakeholders to improve Data Classification and Data loss prevention tasks

Conduct and / or evaluate Governance and Risk compliance tasks

Test and evaluate new technology

Investigating security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents

Work with IT to improve security measures

To be considered for this position, you should have : Skills, Education, or Experience

Knowledge of Information Security Frameworks such as CIS, NIST, ISO 27001.

Knowledge of 23 NYCRR Part 500.

Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques.

Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.

Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them.

Experienced with penetration testing and techniques is a plus.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Education / Experience requirements :

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

At least 5 years' experience within Information Security / Cyber Security or related field.
