As we continue to grow, we are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mortgage Loan Processor for our Irvine office. The Loan Processor must be a self-starter, efficient multi-tasker, great with people, have a positive attitude and is a detail-oriented professional.
Job Requirements
The Loan Processor is primarily responsible for the processing of mortgage loans and fulfillment of underwriting conditions to achieve the Company’s production goals. Candidates should be excellent multitaskers who can work both independently and with a team to meet deadlines. Strong phone, technology skills and an eye for detail are vital in this role. In order to perform this job effectively, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
· Processing of mortgage loans and fulfillment of underwriting conditions;
· Handle the entire loan process, from contract to close;
· Meets/exceeds production standards as set forth by the Company, in manners, consistent with the Company’s policies and procedures;
· Open escrow and title;
· Order VOEs, HOIs, HOA docs, etc.;
· Input documentation in our system;
· Maintain our submission board for clarity of files;
· Update loan documentation in our system on a regular basis to ensure we have detailed records of the entire loan process;
· Oversee all loans coming through the pipeline to ensure the process is compliant and efficient;
· Highly attentive to detail, and has excellent organizational and time management skills;
· Superb communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills;
· Acquire the files necessary for property and loan documentation, including the following: verification of employment, evidence of insurance, payoffs, tax transcripts, credit supplements, condo questionnaires, subordination requests, and title work to assure a smooth loan process;
· Act as a liaison between applicants, mortgage brokers and loan officers, real estate agents, and mortgage lending underwriters to help further loan approval;
· Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of mortgage loan files according to established workflow, procedures, and regulations;
· Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned;
This is a full-time position that requires regular, reliable, and punctual attendance. The Mortgage Loan Processor must have a minimum of 1 years of mortgage lending experience, preferably with purchase mortgage experience. The Mortgage Loan Processor compensation is $40,000 plus a competitive commission (hourly with a per file basis pay structure).
