Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Analytics to join our team. As the Director of Analytics, you will be responsible for leading and managing our analytics department, driving data-driven decision-making, and providing strategic insights to support business growth.
Duties:
- Develop and implement an analytics strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives
- Lead a team of analysts to collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards and reports to track and measure business performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and provide actionable insights
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in analytics to drive innovation within the organization
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security by implementing appropriate data governance practices
- Manage relationships with external vendors or partners for data-related projects or initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Analytics, Statistics, Business Intelligence)
- Proven experience in a leadership role within an analytics or data-driven environment
- Strong knowledge of analytics tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, R)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Knowledge of intellectual property law and regulations related to data privacy and security
- Understanding of DevOps principles and practices
- Familiarity with PCI compliance standards
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically and strategically
- Effective communication skills to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner
