The Assignment Editor for Taste of Home will help kick off our recipe publishing process. Working closely with the Taste of Home editor, you use your SEO knowledge and research skills to create a high volume of assignment briefs for recipes that are infused with advice, images and expertise . You are organized, quick and have a keen interest in the world of cooking.About you:A quick, whip-smart editor, you balance your culinary interests with outstanding attention to detail. You love diving into research projects and crafting clear, thorough assignment briefs so our food writers and visual teams can create best-in-class recipe content. You are efficient, nimble and thrive on deadlines. At home, you love to cook and track what is happening in the food world.Your day-to-day: You research recipe keywords according to SEO best practices, identifying key written and visual componentsYou craft clear, detailed assignment briefs that allow writers and creatives to create engaging, helpful recipe contentYou consistently meet weekly assignment goalsYou support editorial strategy with a full understanding of editorial integrity, brand voice, shareability and engagement, and knowledge of SEO principles and social networksYou have: 2 years of full-time experience creating SEO-focused digital food contentSolid knowledge and understanding of the digital landscape, particularly SEO strategyProven knowledge of SEO best practices and tools, such as SEMrushExperience with a project database such as AirtableKeen organization skills, consistently meeting deadlines and catching all the detailsClear and succinct written communication skills; comfortable accepting and applying constructive feedbackAbility to work independently and as part of a groupA keen familiarity with, and interest in, the food and food-lifestyle spaceTMB embraces inclusivity and values our diverse community.
