Director of Security

Supervisor: Chief Executive Officer

Location: TWF Offices

Travel: 50%

Job Summary:

Trust Women is a non-profit organization providing reproductive care in Wichita, Kansas. Trust Women is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Security to join our team at Trust Women. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of security operations to ensure the safety and security of our employees, visitors, and assets. This role requires a strong leader who can effectively manage a team of security professionals and develop and implement security policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of the organization

· Manage a team of security professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management

· Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and address potential risks and vulnerabilities

· Monitor security systems and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner

· Collaborate with other departments to ensure security requirements are met for events, projects, and initiatives

· Stay up to date on the latest security threats and trends to proactively address

potential risks

· Oversees multiple locations

Additionally:

· Provide service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible, and professional engagement.

· Operate with discretion regarding day-to-day activities

Minimum Qualifications

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management

· Strong leadership and management skills

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work effectively under pressure and in high-stress situations

· Knowledge of security best practices and industry standards

· Pro-abortion, LGBTQ-inclusive, body-positive, disability-inclusive.

· COVID-19 Vaccinated or willing to obtain within four weeks of hire.

Physical Requirements:

The physical stamina to meet the Job Description requirements includes frequent walking, bending, sitting, standing, and lifting. Knowledge of body mechanics is necessary, and appropriate safety transfer techniques and body mechanics are used when assisting patients or equipment, sometimes in excess of 50 pounds. Also understands and accepts the possibility of exposure to environmental elements, internal and external, which may affect the workplace, such as infectious disease, chemical, and/or chemical fumes, dust, noise, physical injury from an out-of-control patient and adverse effects of inclement weather, which may occur.
