Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Structural Designer, located in Blue Island, IL. The Truss Designer will be responsible for creating structural and architectural drawings for floor and roof trusses, working closely with customers to ensure their satisfaction with the final product, and collaborating with the Design team.
Qualifications
Expertise in Truss and Timber design
Proficient in interpreting of architectural drawings
Alpine Software experience preffered
Ability to effectively collaborate with the Structural Engineering team
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field
Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
Strong computer drafting skills
Produce individual truss designs and final layouts for roof or floor plans
Work with project manager to ensure individual client needs and expectations are met
High School diploma or GED (required)
College degree (required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
