ABOUT YOU

  • Provide training and supervision for therapists in implementation of programs and curriculum addressing IEP goals and objectives for clients.
  • Create recommendations for and implement IEPs
  • Attend and collaborate at IEP meetings
  • Develop individual and group lesson plans
  • Data analysis to report quarterly on progress
  • Implementation of progress monitoring and state assessments
  • Facilitate lessons within classrooms
  • Collaborate with treatment team providers (clinical director, clinical supervisor, parents, SLP, OT, PT and other support network) to review and monitor case progress
  • Adhere to ethical standards in HIPAA and BCBA code of ethics
  • Facilitate IEPs and train staff accordingly to implement
  • Maintain caseload of hours in addition to supervisory duties

Education Requirements:

  • Intervention Specialist certification in the state of CA required
  • Special Education degree preferred
  • Experience writing lesson plans for a classroom/group of students in a special education setting
  • Pay $26 - 29 p/h
