Trump National Doral, Miami is Hiring an Engineer-General Maintenance-Full Time *$500 Sign-on Bonus Near Doral, FL
$500 Sign-on Bonus. You will receive $250 upon a successful 90 day completion and $250 upon 180 day completion of employment.
Position PurposeMaintains the guest rooms, public space and back of the house areas in good repair by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades including but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, wall covering and masonry to ensure an attractive and well-maintained resort.

Other DutiesAssimilate into Trump National Doral Miami Cultural Foundation through understanding, supporting and participating in all elements of the Trump Cornerstones. Demonstrate working knowledge of the service standards. Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Trump National Doral Miami from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.
Safety RequirementsPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required when performing work duties that may have the potential of risk to your health or safety. The resort will provide the required PPE. Associates will be trained in the proper use and care of any assigned PPE. It is your responsibility to report defective, damaged or lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly, to your Leader.

Specific Job Knowledge, Skill And AbilityThe individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
ExperienceBasic experience in maintenance trades, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
Licenses Or CertificatesAbility to obtain any government required license or certificate. CPR certification and/or First Aid
training preferred.
Grooming/UniformsAll associates must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. Specific uniform guidelines and/or required articles of clothing will be explained to you as a part of the orientation process.
Full Time - AM & PM Shift
Position PurposeMaintains the guest rooms, public space and back of the house areas in good repair by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades including but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, wall covering and masonry to ensure an attractive and well-maintained resort.
Example Of DutiesESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Inspect guestrooms, public space and back of the house for areas to repair, touch up or replace.
- Repairs, or replace items such as light bulbs, lamps, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, paint, furniture, wall coverings, caulking, grouting or other miscellaneous items.
- Assists other department associates in the systematic application of the preventive maintenance program.
- Makes records of repairs made, or areas needing further attention.
- Maintains inventory of supplies needed to perform job function.
- Reports major repairs and items that cannot be repaired to the dispatcher for further action and if necessary, place a room out of order.
- Due to the nature of the business the individual may be required to do other duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisor, such as water proofing, shop clean up and labeling of hazardous materials.

- Mathematical skills in order to communicate with co-workers fully comprehend job assignments and perform accurate simple arithmetic functions.
