Summary:

Responsible to Nursing Services for supporting the nursing philosophy and providing high quality, comprehensive patient care. Responsible to the customer for courteous, accurate, timely service.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current Ohio license as a registered nurse by the Ohio Board of Nursing required.
• Current BLS and ACLS is required
• Previous experience as an RN preferred.
• Specific areas require specific qualifications and must meet required skills for unit specific addendum.
• Candidates working 8-hour shifts must be available a minimum of 24 hours and maximum of 40 hours in a 4-week period with one being a off shiftand one being a weekend shift. Also, 2 holidaysa year one would have to be Christmas or New Years.
• Candidates working 12-hour shifts must be available a minimum of 36hours and maximum of 48hours in a 4-week period with one being a off shiftand one being a weekend shift. Also, 2 holidaysa year one would have to be Christmas or New Years.

Job Responsibilities, including, but not limited to:

• Performs as a team leader of multi-skilled workers to accomplish plan of care for each patient.
• Leads multi-skilled team to provide high quality, cost-effective, comprehensive patient care.
• Independently, makes sound judgments and effective decisions relative to patient care.
• Performs all skills on the Registered Nurse Equipment/Skills checklist. Performs other duties as assigned.
