Please review the following job description:

Group leader responsible for the evaluation, prioritization, sequencing, delivery, impact and financial management of a broad array of strategic initiatives tied to a platform supporting Wholesale’s business activities and clients. Platforms include all value streams, business processes, technology applications, E2E stakeholders, client segments and risk controls tied to an assigned ecosystem (Credit, Capital Markets or Client Engagement).
  • Partners with executive leaders, functional leaders and peers across the enterprise to lead the development of prioritized roadmaps and delivery of a broad array of initiatives for their platform to realize Truist’s Wholesale strategic plan objectives. Includes new products, strategic change initiatives (e.g. client segmentation changes), process redesign, efficiency initiatives, etc. – both tech and non-tech.
  • Manages and leads through highly complex and unstructured situations. Able to decipher critical vs. non-critical needs, provide clarity and appropriate prioritization, execute sound decisions balancing business and risk considerations, creatively problem solve and influence outcomes in the face of ambiguity
  • Leads demand intake and vetting process, design “journeys”, solution alignment, scope rationalization and change assessment across multiple business and functional units
  • Collaborates effectively with a variety of stakeholders to lead development of business cases, investment and ROI assessments, project plans, cross-Truist project resourcing, E2E project implementation and post-implementation close outs / ROI assessments / audit support for all initiatives tied to their platform
  • Delivers effective budget stewardship, stakeholder engagement, requirements design, problem resolution, testing plans and change management for all value stream initiatives
  • Primary subject matter expert responsible for specific platform / ecosystem knowledge. As needed, represents Wholesale in enterprise forums / projects tied to their platform. Serves as lead input provider in PI Planning Sessions and other technology project meetings / forums; May sit on Steercos, Advisory and Governance Councils as WHLS rep for shared technologies; serves as application and product owner as appropriate.
  • Responsible for managing and developing a team of professionals, including both junior and senior teammates.

Required Qualifications:

1. BA/BS degree
2. 12 years of related work experience
3. Advanced knowledge of industry, market, and products specific to CIB
4. Advanced critical thinking, analytical and technical skills, with ability to problem solve and drive desired outcomes in unstructured / ambiguous situations
5. Experience leading large, complex programs and projects that span multi-disciplined stakeholders at senior leadership levels
6. Excellent interpersonal style, good listening skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely
7. Strong partnering, leadership and influencing skills in a complex, matrixed environment

Preferred Qualifications:
1. MBA degree, with a Strategy or Finance focus
2. 14 years of related work experience

3. Extensive knowledge of Capital Markets and their underlying ecosystems and operating environments
