Please review the following job description:

Responsible for assisting with the internal and external financial reporting for the company.

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Prepare assigned bank reconciliations and research and resolve all reconciling items and variances.2. Prepare reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts and research and resolve all reconciling items and variances.3. Assist with the preparation of property tax returns, use tax returns, and other miscellaneous corporate returns.4. Assist with the review of Vendor Payable batches and expense reports.5. Enter fixed asset purchases into the fixed asset system, review the purchases for proper coding and compliance with the capitalization policy, record monthly depreciation entries, and reconcile system details to the general ledger monthly6. Prepare various external and internal reports on monthly and quarterly basis7. Assist with month-end closing process.8. Assist with other various financial projects.Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, finance or related degree2. Two years of Staff Accounting experience3. Strong analytical and problem solving skills4. Ability to review information, make decisions, and manage time effectively with minimal to no supervision5. Ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization and with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds6. Strong customer service skills and the ability to take instruction well7. Strong verbal and written communications skills8. Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks, details, and interruptions9. Strong computer skills10. Ability to adhere to all organizational policies and procedures

The annual base salary for this position is $65,000. The annual hourly wage for this position is $31.25.

General Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of Truist Financial Corporation: All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position. Truist offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, accidental death and dismemberment, tax-preferred savings accounts, and a 401k plan to teammates.
