Environmental Inspector
An undergraduate degree preferred, not required.
· Safely perform technical and independent inspections for permitted construction activities. Inspectors verify compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
· Inspections must be conducted on a weekly basis, as well as 24-hour response to applicable rainfall, creating the necessity to sometimes work weekends and Holidays.
· The position entails moderate to strenuous hiking on active construction sites with rough/muddy terrain in adverse reliability, and willing to work overtime.
· This position will require impeccable attention to detail and the ability to accurately document field observations.
· Site locations are in OH, WV, and PA
· Skills: proficiency in Microsoft Office primarily Word and Excel
· Competencies: organized, strong communication skills, problem-solving, able to work in the field; initiative; ingenuity; adaptability
· Position works closely with clients.
· Small environmental consulting company, opportunity to work and learn in other departments.
Entry level: $18 - $26 an hour (commensurate with experience and education level)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
