True Vine Concepts is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near Los Angeles, CA

Job Description:
  • Bilingual Medical Assistant (Spanish/English).
  • Vascular & Primary Care Practice.
  • Looking for experienced Front/ Back Office Medical Assistant.
Front Office and Back office position available.
Tasks Include:
  • Assisting in front office patient care, including answering phones, making appointments and collecting paperwork.
  • Performing various administrative tasks as needed.
  • Being able to properly handle patient questions, and relay messages to the doctor as needed.
  • Perform back office clinical tasks such as vital signs and history and medication intake and assisting physicians during procedures, preparing and stocking treatment rooms.
  • Be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time, and be able to lift and carry at least 30 lbs.
  • Experience with some form of electronic medical records system and document patient notes and services according to office policies.
  • Present, promote, and educate patients about products and services offered at our practice.
  • Preparing examination rooms with e.g., required equipment, supplies and education materials for the provision of medical care by providers and nursing care by nursing staff.
  • Responsible for performing basic laboratory procedures to include, e.g.; obtaining blood specimens for testing, performing hemoglobin, urine analysis, and urine and throat cultures as ordered, and draws blood specimens as needed and ordered.
  • Responsible for documenting patient care information in the patient’s electronic medical record.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Experience (Required):
  • Certificate of Medical Assistant program.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) Read and Write.
  • Current CPR Card.
  • Current TB Negative test.
  • Knowledge of how to navigate EMR (EClinical or Similar preferred).
Minimum two years of experience:
  • Salary: To be determined according to experience.
  • Job Type: Full-time.
  • Salary: $1.00 - $25.00 per hour.
