Summary

This is a full-time position that is responsible for assisting with the maintenance, cleaning, and repairing of the physical structure of the buildings and grounds of the main office in Casper, WY and other locations. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining all electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems in the building in coordination with the maintenance person.
• Performs painting and structural repairs to masonry, woodwork and furnishings of buildings.
• Assists with ground maintenance activities, such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, removing weeds, and raking and disposing of leaves and refuse.
• Performs monthly changing, inspecting and log chart on all emergency exit signs, HVAC filters and fire extinguishers.
• Assists other departments as requested, including moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent education with one to two (1-2) years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to operate machinery, equipment, small power tools, and hand tools in a safe and efficient manner.
• English language fluency, verbal and written.
• Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.
