True Mind + Body, PLLC is Hiring a Clinical Child Psychologist Near Northbrook, IL

True Mind Body is in search of a Clinical Child Psychologist to fill the role of Assistant Director/Play Therapy Program Supervisor. This position entails a dynamic blend of direct clincal counseling and supervisory/leadership responsibilities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an average clinical caseload minimum of 20 weekly sessions with children, adolescents, families, and/or adults.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of up to 4 child therapist clinicians in the Play Therapy Department, ensuring compliance with productivity requirements, assessments, documentation, and quality of care.
  • Provide weekly individual supervision for each supervisee to ensure supervisees are providing effective, ethical, and responsible care to TMB clients at all times.
  • Provide comprehensive training on play-based therapies best practices.
  • Coordinate with the intake department regarding intakes and scheduling for clinicians under their supervision.
  • Participate in weekly or bi-weekly leadership meetings.
  • Provide leadership bi-weekly reports on therapist productivity and production.
  • Assist leadership team in providing innovation and implementation of ideas to practice to support enormous growth and expansion of services.
  • Actively participate in the hiring process of new clinicians for the team they lead.
  • Common presenting issues include ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression and mood disorders, family and interpersonal relationship issues, self-injury, low self-esteem, etc.

Experience:

  • Hold the following licenses: PsyD or PhD
  • Minimum of five years of clinical experience in the mental health field working specifically with children ages 5 , including robust play therapy experience and specialization.
  • Preferred minimum of 2 years experience in advanced clinical management or leadership of practice setting preferred.
  • Passion in the mind-body connection and a desire to learn about expressive and motion based therapies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
