JOB SUMMARY

The Clinical Medical Scheduler will be responsible for answering calls coming through our provider line and our community partner line by telephone with guidelines set by True Health.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

1. Answer incoming calls from outside physicians who need to reach a True Health provider.
2. Answer incoming calls from community partners who are scheduling on behalf of patients. 
3. Send messages in the electronic medical record to providers and/or managers as necessary.
4. Call True Health locations to reach providers and/or managers for urgent needs.
5. Schedule appointments in the electronic medical records within the guidelines set by True Health. 
6. Answer patient questions as needed and within the scope of responsibilities. 
7. Follow customer service guidelines as set forth by the company.
8. Manage clinical buckets during call downtime. 
9. Other responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. High School Diploma or equivalent 
2. Certified or Registered Medical Assistant Certificate
3. Minimum one (1) year of telephone or customer service experience 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

1. Typing/keyboarding 35 wpm 
2. Computer literacy 
3. Effective verbal and listening communication skills 
4. Ability to work well independently and with others 
5. Bi-lingual preferred 

RELATIONSHIP REPORTING

Reports to the Medical Scheduling Manager 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Ability to see and read computer screen and printed materials with or without vision aids 
2. Ability to sit, stand, or view a computer screen for extended periods of time 
3. Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions for extended periods of time
