Job Overview:
We are seeking an Abrasive Blaster and Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Abrasive Blasting and/or Spray Painting, but experience is not required.
Duties:
- Blasts metal surfaces clean to prepare them for paint applications.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, coating, or other finishes
- Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Inspect surfaces after blasting to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain and clean equipment after each use
- Selects appropriate coatings and paints or prepares them by mixing substances according to formulas.
- Operates auxiliary machines or equipment used in coating or painting processes.
- Determines paint flow and coating quality by performing visual inspections.
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning of words.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing effective output.
- Ability to use hand tools, small power tools, test equipment and a willingness to learn.
