True Friends is Hiring a Grants Manager Near Minnesota, MN
The Grant Manager will work independently and in partnership with Development staff and program leaders to pursue known and recurring grant opportunities and identify new opportunities that align with the existing mission and programs. The Grant Manager is an integral part of the Development team and True Friends.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Senior Director of Development to determine corporate and foundation funding goals, identify new funding sources, and cultivate relationships.
- Research, write, and submit grant proposals, LOI’s, reports to a variety of corporate and foundation funders.
- Maintain grants calendar, track, and monitor proposal deadlines, grant renewals, results of written requests, reports, and act accordingly to ensure continuation of funds.
- Ensure all work is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
- Work with Database Coordinator to ensure evaluation metrics are accurately reported.
Demonstration of successful experience with foundation funding required; experience with corporate, government and other grant makers preferred. Professional references required.
Depending on workload, this is a part-time position of approximately 50 hours/month. Hourly rate or other rate structure negotiable based on experience and ongoing results.
