POSITION SUMMARY:
True Eye Experts is seeking a talented individual to join our team as an Optometric Medical Technician. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the well-being of our patients and work in a collaborative environment. Experience is not required. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide exceptional customer service during every patient encounter (in person or via phone)
• Display a professional attitude, greet patients promptly with a smile, and thank them when they leave
• Practice urgency at all times with patient's time, doctor's time, and schedule
• Comply with all company policies and procedures including HIPAA
• Operate pretesting equipment
• Follow scripting for testing equipment
• Clean all examination equipment
• Demonstrates working knowledge of eye anatomy, diseases, symptoms and ocular medications
• General office duties and cleaning

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• High school diploma or GED required.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED:

• This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Work is performed in a medical office setting.
• Physical demands of position: must be able to sit for long periods of time, must have manual dexterity to work computer systems and keyboard.
• Must be able to have face to face conversation with patients and staff.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds

Salary Description

$14.00-$19.00 an hour depending on experince
