JOB DESCRIPTION: TruDesign is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, energetic, and self-motivated project manager that has the flexibility to handle everything from scheduling all appointments for both construction and non-construction projects; tracking product and materials; managing and working directly with new and existing clients/vendors, and providing project support to Principal Designers and contractors; everything that is needed to ensure projects run smoothly. Excellent organization and communication skills are a must.

TruDesign has a fun, yet professional work environment located in Lafayette, CO and offers a competitive compensation package for the right candidate.

Compensation/Benefits: $55,000 - $65,000 DOE mileage. Full time: 36 hrs/week; 72 hours PTO per year.

Start Date: March 1, 2023

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide crucial support to Principal Designers and General Contractor.
  • Oversee management and flow of projects of any size, from paint consultations to remodels.
  • Scheduling of most vendor related appointments in office, including but not limited to pre-construction walkthroughs, furniture and/or material deliveries, product installations, final walkthroughs, etc.
  • Write and maintain construction Scope of Work for multiple projects.
  • Receive and inspect materials and products at various job sites throughout the Denver metro area and occasionally into the mountains.
  • Intermediate knowledge of furniture, fixture and equipment (FF&E), interior finishes, lighting, color and materials a plus.
  • Communicate construction details with Contractors and Principal Designers.
  • Weekly site-visits to various job sites throughout the Denver metro area and occasionally into the mountains to ensure the work being done is to our standards and specifications.
  • Prepare and send weekly detailed email to clients regarding status on their job including photographs and notes.
  • Communicate with Principal Designers regarding change-orders, unexpected site challenges and project timeline.
  • Manage client expectations and questions throughout the construction or installation process.
  • Detailed product tracking via ClickUp.
  • Construction experience a major plus.
  • CAD experience a major plus, but not required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum four years’ experience in project management; experience with construction a plus.
  • Certificate or associates degree in project management or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills; action-oriented. The ideal candidate for this position is confident, professional, creative and organized. They are self-directed, a multi-tasker that gets things done despite multiple distractions, and willing to pitch in wherever they are needed to help the team.
