Trucking is Hiring a Tire Technician Near Clarksville, IN

Job Summary:

Balancing, flat repairs, rotation and changing tires.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work directly on the motor vehicle for safe operation
  • Meets the minimum qualifications set forth in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
  • Repair and mount tires
  • Ability to inspect and identify tire issues

Qualifications:

· High School diploma or GED required. Vocational/Technical maintenance certification preferred.

· Minimum of 2 years practical experience required.

· Proficiency in the use of all tools of the trade including welding equipment, diagnostic equipment, hand and power tools required.

· Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

· Basic computer skills preferred for data entry into maintenance system.

· A current, valid driver’s license is required. Current CDL license with air brake certification preferred or willingness to acquire CDL

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
