Truck & Tap Duluth is Hiring a Barback Near Duluth, GA

About us

Truck & Tap is a beer and cocktail bar in Downtown Duluth. We have a rotating selection of craft beer from around the world, along with wine, and a full bar. Food is provided by a rotating food truck. We're looking for fun, energetic individuals to join our team.

The Barback is directly responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the restaurant, which allows our Bartenders to focus on the guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Welcome and respond to guests in a friendly and positive manner.
  • Consistently collect, wash, sanitize and restock all glassware, and barware.
  • Efficiently and continuously re-stock bar with liquor, ice, fruit, straws, and napkins, as necessary.
  • Cleans and resets all tables in the dining room, and on the patio.
  • Maintain an organized work area.
  • Proactively cleans and resets tables.
  • Properly disposes of broken glassware.
  • Rotate and restock produce, beer, and wine at the bar.
  • Ensure that inventory for drinks is full and well stocked.
  • Follow safety and sanitation guidelines in accordance with local health regulations.

Requirements

· Must be at least 21 years old.

· Walk or stand for extended periods of time.

· Perform functions which require organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing, and stocking up to 50 lbs.

· Must be able to move beer kegs up to 160 lbs.

· Remaining calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere

· Demonstrating an elevated level of organization, attention-to-detail, and a sense-of-urgency

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
