Assembler A – Lamp/Led

Must be able to perform a wide variety of work assignments that requires dexterity and skill. Responsible for maintaining product quality while performing operations. Responsible for simple set-ups (requiring the use of common hand tools). Must rotate as required. Participate in problem-solving teams. Ordinary physical exertion and frequent mental and visual effort are required. Manually push, pull, and bend wire and cable. Work assignments include but are not limited to the following: Transfer printing, Bulb set, Precision soldering, Hand hot melting, Spot welding, Cell operator, Cell floater (Cell Floaters are responsible to work in multiple cells) Wire cut/strip machine, Epoxy stations, LED prep machines, Floaters (Floaters are responsible to work in any area as required)

Assembler A – Wire

Must be able to perform a wide variety of work assignments that requires dexterity and skill. Responsible for maintaining product quality while performing operations. Responsible for first-piece set-up verifications. Responsible for simple set-ups (requiring the use of common hand tools). Must rotate as required. Participate in problem-solving teams. Responsible for SPC charting. Operation of all equipment or processes in the wire department area. Ordinary physical exertion and frequent mental and visual effort is required. Manually push, pull, and bend wire and cable. Work assignments include but are not limited to the following: Molding, Precision soldering, Tape wrap, Solder dip, Eyelet, Terminators, Cell floater (Cell Floaters are responsible to work in multiple cells), Wire cut/strip machine, Splicers, Test boards, General bench, Floaters (Floaters are responsible to work in any area as required)

Work Center Specialist – LED

Operate SMT and associated equipment to produce component assemblies and properly package and identify products. Assist in the setup of SMT equipment. Set-up may include adjustments and/or changeovers of SMT process. Setup of Cut and Form equipment. Set up and operate AOI for purposes of running in-process inspections to maintain proper compliance to print specifications. Rework circuit boards as directed by the Supervisor, Group Leader, Or Grade C operator. Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment such as feeders, conveyors, alarms, etc according to the training checklist. Required to inspect the product for defects. This may include but is not limited to damaged components, missing solder paste or components, solder bridges, and/or lifted components. Monitor ASM defect data and work with Grade C to identify issues. Monitor component usage and report low reel quantities to the Grade C operator for replenishment. Work with Grade C concerning equipment and/or product problems that are not readily correctable. Record and report scrap for each order to the Grade C operator.

Advanced Work Center Specialist – LED

Operate SMT and AOI equipment to produce component assemblies and properly package and identify the product. Setup of all SMT and associated equipment. Set-up may include adjustments and/or changeovers of SMT process. Stage orders on spare feeder banks per setup sheet. Compare BOM and drawing for inconsistencies. Perform first-piece, in-process, and last-piece inspections to maintain proper compliance to print specifications. Perform unpowered troubleshooting of circuit boards and rework as required. Perform troubleshooting of equipment as but not limited to aligning fiducials, cleaning nozzles, and running NPI on ASM according to the training checklist. Required to inspect the product for defects. This may include but is not limited to damaged components, missing solder paste or components, solder bridges, and/or lifted components. Monitor ASM defect data and report problems to Supervision. Ensure accuracy of floor stock inventory through appropriate warehouse transactions (scrap, etc.). Repair minor equipment defects including but not limited to screen printer blades, nozzles, and feeders. Order card file replacement parts from the stockroom. Assist Grade B operators with any production problems that arise. Coordinate and train operators. Advise Grade B operators in rework tasks. Perform periodic PMs on all SMT equipment. Notify Supervision immediately concerning equipment and/or product problems that are not readily correctable.

Material Attendant

Responsible for the movement, flow, and accuracy of transactions for all production materials in the facility. Performs complicated work assignments requiring knowledge acquired through training and experience. Must be familiar with the procedures and the parts used in production and coordinates the flow of material through manufacturing. Performs all transactions associated with the material. The position requires compliance with the Technology Control Plan and the Federal Export Control Policy established for the Corporation.
