Do you enjoy working in situations where no two days are the same and you can continually learn new things? TCI is looking for a customer-oriented Parts Counter Sales Representative. This role requires strong interpersonal skills to sell commercial vehicle and equipment parts to external customers in person or over the phone.WHAT WE OFFER:401(k) with company matchHealth insurance with 3 plan options to choose from, Vision Insurance, and Dental InsurancePaid time off including paid volunteer timeDisability insuranceFSA and HSA optionsCompany paid Life and AD&D insuranceMaternity leaveEmployee assistance programWellness programCompany paid uniformsCompany paid boot allowanceOEM and vendor certification training at no cost through our state-of-the-art Training Center at our Troy & South Bend campuses to maintain your certifications and obtain new onesTool insurance at no costCompany-supplied specialty toolingWHAT YOU'LL DO:Sell parts over the counter or on the phone in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Use provided resources to look up parts and technical information, determine parts inventory, and locate stock in-house or within the greater TCI network in a timely manner.Execute all sales transactions accurately, thoroughly, and promptly per TCI policies including signatures, credit card verification, and customer identity.Promptly schedule orders for daily shipment, delivery, or customer pick-up.Issue credits for returned parts, ensuring that the original invoice or its reference number is available to verify purchase price.Routinely follow-up with customers on order status, estimates, or to provide routine sales calls to current and potential customer base.Accurately enter part numbers to determine parts costs on repair orders.QualificationsWhat We're Looking For:Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.High School Diploma or GED2 years of experience of parts sales experience is highly preferredThorough knowledge of basic computer operations and inventory control systemsDemonstrated customer service and communication skillsStrong organization skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple projects seamlessly with excellent attention to detail and a solution-focused outlookAbility to lift or move up to 80 lbs. unassistedAdditional InformationTruck Centers, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer (EOE).
