Nature of job: The office manager is a client-facing professional appointed to coordinate the activities and documentation of the agency.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: The office manager must meet the following qualifications:

  • Ability to hire, onboard, manage, and lead a robust team of office staff and direct care employees
  • Effectively convert inside sales to foster company growth in alignment with company mission and values
  • Must be highly motivated, growth-oriented, and a team player
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, orally and in writing
  • Must have strong organizational skills, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Must be dependable and have a patient, welcoming personality
  • Office and clerical skills, including software experience with Word, Excel and other applications
  • Excellent customer services skills and a consistently professional demeanor
  • Ability to identify and solve problems in a timely manner
  • Ability to respond promptly and compassionately to client and family needs
  • Must have the ability and desire to learn new things and skills.
  • Satisfactory background screening results

Scope of Position: Reports to the director of operations

Major Responsibilities: The office manager manages client and employee interactions, files, required documents and is responsible for:

  • Managing and leading schedulers and direct care staff, including hiring, onboarding, scheduling, evaluating, coaching, and terminating
  • Scheduling, on-call responsibilities, and managing incoming communications (telephone, email, mail, etc.)
  • Demonstrating and inspiring employees to operate in accordance with company values
  • Communicating directives from upper management to staff in an accurate and efficient manner
  • Managing inside sales and provide prospective clients, family members, and referral sources with excellent customer service to increase client conversions and drive business growth
  • Overseeing the maintenance and management of client and employee files
  • Data entry into computer programs used in office
  • Other office and clerical activities as directed
  • Any other duty requested to maintain the operations of the business

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
