We are looking to add 1 laundry attendant / housekeeper to our staff at Tru by Hilton Oxford.

A Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Typical Duties Include:

· Maintain a constant supply of clean linens

· Perform all stages of linen processing, including, but not limited to, collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading and unloading (washers, dryers and chutes), ironing, folding, storing and delivering

· Maintain cleanliness of laundry machinery and laundry area

· Maintain stock levels

· Respond to guest service issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner

· Perform additional laundry services, as needed

· May be required to assist in housekeeping functions, as need

· May be required to perform other functions assigned by manager, as needed.

Job Requirements

· Must be able to stand in work station for up to 7 hours per shift.

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

· Must be able to push and pull carts up to 250 pounds often throughout the shift.

· Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch on a regular basis.

· Must be able to understand and follow directions in the spoken language of the work area.

· Must be able to travel to various areas of the hotel to pick/deliver linen items in allotted time provided.

· Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends and holidays.

· May be required to wear a lumbar support belt to prevent lifting injuries.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Morning shift
• No nights
