Tru by Hilton Columbia Greystone is Hiring a Houseperson, Part-Time Weekends Near Columbia, SC

About Us:

The Tru by Hilton Columbia Greystone is three minutes from fun at Riverbanks Zoo and Gardens. Less than four miles from downtown, the hotel is just off I-126. Tru by Hilton offers a hotel experience that’s vibrant, affordable, and young at heart. The hotel is located at 185 Stonebridge Drive, Columbia, SC 29210.

The Role:

As a Houseperson, you’re the extra set of hands that keeps our hotel and housekeeping department running smoothly.

What You'll Do:

Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all public spaces within the hotel, from the lobby to the hallways.
Assist the housekeeping and front desk teams by delivering supplies, linens, and amenities to guest rooms.
Support the housekeeping team in ensuring that rooms are ready for guest arrivals.
Collaborate with housekeepers to coordinate the timely turnover of guest rooms.
Help with the removal of trash and used linens, ensuring proper disposal.
Respond promptly to guest requests for additional items or assistance.
Maintain an organized inventory of housekeeping supplies.

Your Skills and Style:

Your attention to detail ensures that supplies are delivered accurately and on time.
A proactive attitude is your signature – you anticipate the needs of the housekeeping team and our guests.
Previous experience in a similar role in a hotel setting is a plus but not required.
Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with various departments.
You're physically fit and capable of lifting and moving supplies and equipment.
Your schedule flexibility means you're open to weekends and holidays.
