Job Title: Environmental Project Manager, Engineer or Geologist
We currently seek a talented and experienced Environmental Project Manager, Engineer or Geologist on a direct hire basis within our client’s environmental engineering and science consulting firm. The successful candidate will work on projects ranging from site investigations to regulatory compliance tasks, feasibility studies, and remedial design and/or implementation. Duties will also include supporting marketing/business development efforts and serving in a managing role over support staff. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver and an environmental strategist known for hands-on practical experience in investigations. One who is ready to lead a team. A project manager who enjoys working on a wide range of projects in an environment that fosters creativity, collaboration at all levels, a culture of support, and professional growth. Our client emphasizes empowering staff to practice our profession passionately and without limitations. This position is for our client’s Dallas, Texas office, located in Farmers Branch, TX.
Job Requirements:
· Provide client and project management, coordination, and implementation of comprehensive project work associated with environmental investigations and remediation oversight.
· Managing fieldwork, compiling data, preparing reports, and oversight of projects
· Managing environmental site assessments and remediation projects
· CERCLA Remedial Investigations/Feasibility Studies
· Preparation of work plans and UFP-SAPs
· Understanding of local, state, and federal environmental regulations, especially TRRP regulations and reporting requirements
Qualifications:
· BS in Engineering, (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental or Chemical) or Geology, or related environmental science
· 10 years’ experience in environmental compliance, geology, and/or environmental engineering
· Texas PE or PG License
· Project Management experience is required.
· Strong consulting and problem-solving skills are required
· Communication skills, written and verbal, are critical to success
· Experience with environmental DoD contracts preferred
· Experience in emerging contaminants such as PFAS preferred
