Electrical Commercial Site Supervisor

Harrisburg, PA

Hourly Rate : $40.00

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in overseeing electrical installations and ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards.

As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the electrical aspects of commercial construction projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee and manage all electrical installations on commercial construction sites.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Interpret electrical blueprints and technical drawings to effectively plan and execute installations.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during construction.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with relevant safety regulations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the electrical team, including training and mentoring junior staff members.

Requirements :

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical construction, with a focus on commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Experience reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Valid electrical license / certification (insert specific requirements based on location).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Familiarity with green building practices and sustainable construction techniques.
  • OSHA certification or other relevant safety training.
