Job Description:
Tropical Trash is looking for a reliable Office Administrator/Work Scheduler to join our Team. Tropical Trash is a well established, locally owned and operated business whose headquarters are currently in Ridgeland, SC.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a fast paced administrative role, with scheduling experience a plus.
Candidate must excel at prioritizing and working with a team. We are a Customer Centric business, the right candidate will be as well.
Responsibilities include:
Scheduling
Speak with customers over the phone in order to schedule waste management services.
Respond to scheduling voicemails
Enter services into drivers calendar
Resolve appointment conflicts such as driver call outs, items blocking dumpsters, or dumpsters not available
Schedule drivers to ensure the companies operation standards
Administrative
Enter new customers into custom database
Update information in custom database as required
Answer multi line telephone
Multi- task take calls, enter data, schedule work, email etc.
Resolve customer services issues
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have the ability to build efficient working relationships with staff and vendors
Must have an eye for detail and organization – needs extremely good organizational skills
Must have excellent computer skills
Must be comfortable working with custom software
Must have the ability to perform more than one task at a time and solve problems quickly without losing focus
Compensation
This is a permanent full time 5 day per week position.
$18-20 per hour based on experience
Holiday Pay after 3 months
PTO after 3 months
Insurance benefits after 3 months
