Tropical Florist in Bradenton, FL is looking for a sales associate to join our team! Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, friendly, and hard-working. Tropical Florist is a local business that strives to give customers an unforgettable experience and amazing products at the best price. Responsibilities

• Welcome customers by greeting them in a friendly manner & offering them assistance.
• Provide customers information on products & services offered.
• Input orders into our POS system with information given by customer *Process payments by totaling purchases; processing cash and card payments
• Use judgment to solve customer inquiries or problems
• Maintain daily orders scheduled for deliveries
• Organize and prioritize orders
• Maintain a clean workspace
• Maintain keeping store clean, stocked, and organized
• Be willing to *Help designers with tasks such as: help with wrapping flowers, moving flower buckets, processing flowers, organizing vases & gifts.

Qualifications

• MUST be a self-starter (Will be looking for someone with initiative)
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Friendly and outgoing personality- Personable, polite, and people person.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detailed oriented
• Able to problem solve if issues arise
• Must be able to multitask in a high pace environment- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly to meet time deadlines and quality standards
• Proficient to advanced ability to use basic computer point-of-sale system
• Floral experience (preferred) not required
• Spanish speaking (bonus) not required
