General Purpose: 

Ensures chicken is cooked to accurate temperature and restaurant and caterings have enough chicken for their designated shift

Job Duties and Responsibilities 

• Adhere to DHEC and Tropical Grille rules and regulations
• Adhere to Tropical Grille Recipes 
• Assist putting away truck orders
• Communicating with management if help is needed 
• Ensure proper rotation and labeling of food, FIFO 
• Maintain cleanliness of grille, including wall, floor, and table underneath as well as grille tools and hoods
• Maintain food quality, consistency, and freshness
• Marinating chicken 
• Prepare caterings 
• Breaking down and cleaning grille
• Responsibilities are not limited to direct job description; we expect all team members to perform any additional tasks asked of them by management 

Skills and Competencies: 

• Knowledge of food safe temperatures 
• Urgency 
• Organization 
• Basic knife skills
• Muti-tasking

Physical Job Requirements

• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Physical dexterity required to clean work areas
• Able to work in hot kitchen environment
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
