This is a great opportunity for a Medical Assistant/ X-Ray Tech- to join our team. Successful candidates should be able to have a complete understanding of all medical procedures and protocols, as well as have an extensive knowledge of medical terminology. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide excellent services to patients as well as maintain a clean, safe, organized and efficient clinical environment. The ideal candidate for this position will also be comfortable communicating with patients about their medical issues, responding to general inquiries and being detailed-oriented in all health care related workplace responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform administrative work to ensure the smooth operation of a medical office.
• Serve patients by welcoming them, answering questions, and providing information on treatment plans and procedures.
• Perform basic medical duties, such as taking vital signs, recording symptoms and conditions, and completing insurance forms.
• Maintain the cleanliness of exam rooms and equipment.
• Assist physicians by preparing patients for treatment, maintaining examination room supplies, taking x-rays, drawing blood, and administering injections.
• Be familiar with state and Federal medical laws and assist office staff in complying with them.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
