• Supervises and observes swimmers at all times to ensure their safety.
• Assists in organizing clinics and private swimming lessons for members as directed by department manager.
• Enforces the rules of conduct.
• Organize and support scheduling of lessons and billing with Wellness Director
• Communicated with parents and swimmers regarding progress and improvement.
• Maintains all necessary records determined by the department manager.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); two to four years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CPR, First Aid 
• Experience required 
• American Red Cross WSI Certification, CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers
• 1 year experience teaching a Red Cross Learn To Swim program
• Must be familiar with scheduling swim lessons and communicating with parents and swimmers regarding progress and improvement.

Other Qualifications:

• ASCA certification preferred.
