As Service Ambassador, you will be responsible for providing incredible guest service and member experiences through daily interaction with guests, supporting service team and restocking and keeping comfort stations clean. Beginner Service Ambassadors are welcome – while knowledge of providing efficient service is preferred, previous experience is not required for the position.Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work weekends and holidays, as needed. This includes competitive compensation starting at $16.00 - $18.00 per hour.Our team has made a conscious effort to ensure strong protocols are in place to keep you and our patrons safe, so you can focus on the customer experience, camaraderie, and dining room management.Responsibilities• Interacts with guests present in the pavilion with any requests and needs• Well versed in Shell Bay areas and activities to be able to assist and guide guests• Assures that all material used in service is clean and ready for daily operation• Restocks all comfort stations with food and beverage items and ingredients and keeps utensils and entire area tidy, organized and clean• Uses walkie-talkie – listens and communicates clearly responding to the needs of the guests and team• Clears dishes or debris located in front of guest• Clears and resets areas with comfort stations, to include but not limited to: changes napkins, wipes down chairs, places chairs at table, replaces silverware and glassware, and replaces clean utensils at comfort stations• Takes stock count of all consumed food and beverages at the end of the day• Clean side stations, takes out trash, and sweeps the pavilion comfort station area• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance• Regular and reliable attendance• Performs other duties as requiredEducation and Experience Requirements• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the jobWorking Conditions• Frequently stands, walks and sits• Ability to drive golf cart• Regularly uses hands, pushes, pulls, reaches with arms and hands, talks and listens• Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches• Regularly lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds• Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions• Frequently works with cleaning supplies and chemicals• May come into contact with fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals• Noise level is moderateAbout Shell Bay Club:Brought to life by Auberge Resorts Collection, at Shell Bay Club every moment is thoughtful and every need is anticipated, with careful attention to detail and service tailored especially for every single club member and their guest.
