Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare CAD generated drawings, bills of material and other documentation as required to have the product costed, prototyped or placed in production.

Duties:

• Work closely with the engineering staff to develop design details on new and existing products.
• Work from sketches, specifications and various information as provided
• Maintain the engineering documentation system, including: Construct and update Bills of Material and enter on computerized database; execute Engineering Change Notifications (ECN) in accordance with the guidelines related Quality Policies, includes researching Engineering Change Requests (ECR) as directed by the Engineering supervisor;
• Assist personnel from outside the Engineering Department in locating documentation.

Other Responsibilities:

Any other projects as assigned by supervisor

Education and experience:

Minimum of 2 years post High School courses in Design or Layout Drafting supplemented by mathematics and other Engineering fundamental courses. Associates degree or equivalent desirable. Two to three years of drafting experience including CAD required. Experience with Solidworks required.

Additional Beneficial Experience:

• Material selection
• Familiarity with Manufacturing practices
• Tolerance Studies, including GD&T
• Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Systems

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
