Duties:
-Act as the first point of contact for all order deliveries and pickups
-Ensure materials are received, documented in the appropriate system, stored, shipped and distributed in accordance with established procedures
- Manage the receipt of all incoming customer orders and update the appropriate system, including:
- Verify received orders match a corresponding sales order
- Verify the delivered product and quantity received
- Sort and prepare deliveries accordingly for storage or distribution
- Notify the Production Manager of received orders

- Manage the receipt of all vendor deliveries and update the appropriate system, including:

- Verify received orders match a corresponding purchase order
- Verify the delivered materials and quantity received
- Sort and prepare deliveries for accordingly storage and distribution
- Document and notify the Production Manager and the purchasing team of the delivery

- Manage the shipment of all completed orders, including:

- Verify the quantity matches the quantity received
- Document completed orders ready to be shipped and update the appropriate system
- Coordinate shipment or pick up of completed orders with customers

-Manage the loading docks and shipping personnel, including:

- Coordinate forklift drivers to perform loading and unloading activities
- Coordinate forklift drivers to pick up or distribute deliveries to various departments
- Load and unload deliveries from the vehicles at designated locations
- Schedule and organize daily activities in the receipt and distribution of materials

- Work with the Customer Relations Manager to coordinate delivery and shipping schedules with customers
- Recognize items and materials that require special handling or storage requirements and treat with appropriate care
- Work closely with the Production Manager and Customer Relations Manager to:
- Confirm which orders and respective quantities have been received
- Identify any damage or discrepancies between what was expected and what was received
- Notify the customer of the delivery and any damages or discrepancies
- Confirm which orders are scheduled to be picked up or shipped

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
