Job Summary:

Description:

• Purpose of the Team: Design UX team that works with azure core – working with lots of product managers and designers.

• Key projects: This role will contribute to Azure solutions and ecosystem group.

• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 30% meetings, 60% heads down, 20% in the tool/collaboration in design.



Candidate Requirements

• Years of Experience Required: 5-7 overall years of experience in the field.

• Degrees or certifications required: Industry design / experience in design preferred. Flexible on degree – if the candidate is already a designer with experience, academic experience does not matter as much.

• Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain enterprise products experience similar to Azure. Industry proximity can insinuate experience in industry.

• Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on milestones and checkpoints – they measure the candidates test designs and their effectiveness, usability and so on.

Summary:

The main function of a UX/UI Developer is to develop, create, and modify user interfaces through an understanding of end-user needs.



Job Responsibilities:

• Engages with the business development team and/or customer early on to seek a deeper appreciation of the customers’ business problem/goals.

• Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints

• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met

• Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design

• Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications



Skills:

• Experience in software design and development

• Experience in professional UI development

• Experience with data-driven UI development

• Strong communication and problem solving skills



Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required

• 5-7 years of experience required

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
