TriVector Services, Inc., is seeking qualified candidates to fill our AMD Software Force Operations Product Ownerposition.

Description:

The Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Force Operations Team Product Owner (PO) will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO). The position will include reviewing and understanding Systems Engineering concepts, designs, and algorithms and providing guidance to the development team. The product owner will work with Program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects for the team for each product increment and sprint. The position will include technical briefings and advisement to leadership on status and recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission.

The candidate must have a basic understanding of Force Operations (FO) concepts to include asset protection, development and analysis of courses of action (COA), operation plans and orders, and airspace control orders and measures. They must also be able to provide oversight to FO Software Software development team and verify the teams work based on agreed upon acceptance criteria. The candidate must be able to work directly with the Agile software developers. The candidate should also have experience knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS and familiar with current FO implementations in one or more o/f the DoD services. Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM team is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret clearance
• Candidate must be a US Citizen
• BS Degree in Engineering (ABET accredited program), Science, or Math
• Background in Agile software development
• Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong leadership and teaming skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Enthusiasm, independent critical thinker, leadership skills, and a team attitude are important, as well as the ability to respond to quick turn requests.
