We are seeking a General Warehouse Associate to become an integral part of our team!

Responsibilities:

• Receiving daily shipments of tile, plumbing, and industry tooling
• Accurately pulls, packs, labels, and set up orders for pick up
• Locates Manufacturer's packing list, verifies receipt of each item listed, signs and attaches packing lit to purchase order and bill of lading
• Signs and dates freight bill noting all adjustments and/or damage to product and reports any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to the appropriate person
• Performs general shipping duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, sorting, and labeling
• Verifying and hand loading customer pick up orders
• Handles returns promptly, checks material for damage or defects, submits damage claims, place sellable material back in stock and defective material in proper location
• Communicates positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers
• Moves all inventory into allocated spaces within warehouse
• Operates a forklift safely and efficiently, maintains required certification (can be provided by us)
• Attends product knowledge meetings as required by management
• Keep facility secure. Ensures all equipment is stored at the end of the day and all doors are secured
• Maintains a clean and efficient work area
• Cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal of entire warehouse, parking lot, restrooms, etc
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• Prior experience in distribution or warehousing preferred
• Ability to lift/carry heavy objects
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Work independently, exercising judgement and initiative
• Work effectively under pressure and produce accurate results in a fast-paced environment
• Follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision
• Good interpersonal skills
• Prior forklift experience preferred
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to pass drug screening and background check
• Must have command of basic computer skills & math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Must possess problem solving skills
• Requires ability to work 7:30 A.M. until 5 P.M.

Compensation:

• Hourly pay, based on knowledge and experience
